I'm Daryl Horton—a multidisciplinary creator with an MFA in Creative Writing, an MISM in Business Information Management, and completed PhD coursework (ABD) in Knowledge Management. My work spans poetry, prose, art, and photography, exploring the inner and outer landscapes of oppression to inspire awareness and drive social impact.
I bring over a decade of experience in knowledge management and technical documentation, paired with a creative lens to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights. Whether I'm building documentation systems using SharePoint-based workflows or crafting poetic narratives for social change, I aim to bridge the gap between analysis and artistry.
I collaborate with organizations, publishers, and creative teams seeking to turn complexity into clarity.
Here’s a snapshot of my creative and technical toolkit:

I’m currently developing creative and technical projects through:
- Abolitic – Creative resistance through poetry, prose, and visual storytelling.
A multidisciplinary initiative focused on socially engaged creative work. Through poetry, prose, and visual storytelling, Abolitic challenges systems of oppression and invites dialogue that inspires awareness and meaningful change.
- Urban Pugilist – Where grit meets reflection—boxing as art and metaphor.
A personal and creative space where I explore my love of boxing—not just as a sport, but as a metaphor for resilience, discipline, and transformation. As a boxer myself, I use this platform to share curated content, training insights, and reflections that connect the physical and philosophical dimensions of the fight.
